Our personal journey and inspiration
Kidney Assistance was born from a very personal experience. In October 2025, I faced kidney failure myself. This journey has highlighted the critical need for clearer information and greater understanding. While dialysis helps, it only performs about 10% of a kidney's function, making the search for an organ donor vital for regaining health. My hope is that this website will provide valuable help to others in similar circumstances, offering insights and support that I wished I had access to.

The most important thing I want visitors to Kidney Assistance to gain is a clearer understanding of their condition. Dealing with kidney problems can be overwhelming, and medical terminology often makes it harder. Our goal is to break down complex information into easily digestible content, empowering you with knowledge that helps you feel more in control of your health journey.

I help people understand and manage their kidney health by sharing my own experiences and telling my story in plain English.
